Take part in the 2016 Regional Wellbeing Survey

The 2016 Regional Wellbeing Survey is now open – please consider taking part!

Do the survey online at www.regionalwellbeing.org.au

Call 1800 981 499 if you’d like us to post you a paper survey, or for help with the survey.

The Regional Wellbeing Survey’s mission is to improve the wellbeing and quality of life of people living in rural and regional Australia. To achieve this, each year we ask people living across Australia to take part in our survey. Taking part lets you have your say on issues that affect your wellbeing and the liveability of your community. These issues range from your access to the internet and key services, to how events such as floods and drought are affecting you, and how safe your community is, amongst others. This year we also have some questions about experiences of caring for others, and the types of support needed by carers.

Many organisations are now using the Regional Wellbeing Survey’s results, ranging from local governments to the National Farmers Federation and the Rural Women’s Network. Please consider taking part in the survey, and forward this email to others who might be interested in the survey.

All survey participants aged 18 or over can enter the draw to win one of 20 prizes worth a total of $9,000. You can choose to do a short or long version of the survey.

The survey is voluntary, confidential and anonymous, and closes on 30th November 2016, at midnight. Thank you in advance for taking the time to participate and sharing your valuable insights.

Survey prizes: Winners receive their choice of either a Flight Centre, Coles-Myer, WISH or Bunnings gift card, to the following value –  First prize: $2,000; Second to fourth prize: $1,000; fifth to tenth prize: $500; 10 runner-up prizes of $100.

Terms and conditions of entry into the 2016 prize draw: Entry into the lottery is determined by the completion of a survey on wellbeing of rural and regional communities, promoted by mailed flyers and emails.
