Gathang Language Research

Guudji Yiigu, Minya Nyura Wubaliyn? Barraba Yitirr Jonathan, Ngatha Murrooka Waapanga. Representatives from NSW State Library and Western Sydney University will visit Murrook Culture Centre on 18^th February 2016 to share and talk about their discovery of resources archived relating to the Gathang Language. The team will be presenting the information via a power point display and exhibiting old documents of the language. Our visitors will also be discussing the Indigenous Services at the State Library of NSW and the many archival documents stored there. We trust the Gathang Community will have the opportunity to discuss and give recommendations regarding these most precious documents.
